I aim at the visual communication of interesting scientific topics from scientists to scientists and / or to the public.
Science can be communicated through all kinds of channels, from scientific publications via posters and infographics, via advertisement or medication packaging till children’s books.
If we want people to understand our research or product, we need to show them some straightforward images. If we want them to catch interest, the images must be appealing, too.
After having completed my PhD focusing at the interface of Biochemistry/ Structural Biology/ Molecular Biology/ Parasitology, at the Institut Pasteur Paris in France, and an additional MA in Scientific Illustration (Zurich University of the Arts, Zurich, Switzerland), I am now working as a freelance scientific illustrator.
